The Process

A chronological look at how we built the ultimate garden workspace.

01

The Concept

It started with a simple need: a dedicated workspace separated from the distractions of the main house. The client, a graphic designer, sketched out a vision for a light-filled sanctuary nestled at the bottom of their garden. They wanted something modern, minimal, but robust enough to use year-round.

"I didn't want just a shed. I wanted a proper studio."

Precision Design

We took the initial sketch and turned it into a technical reality. Using our advanced CAD software, we designed the structure using UltraSIPs panels. This 'digital twin' allowed us to optimize every cut, ensuring zero waste and a perfect fit before a single piece of timber was touched.

"Seeing it in 3D made it real. I knew exactly what I was getting."

The UltraSIPs Difference

The core of the build is our high-performance SIP technology. Sandwiching strict-spec insulation between structural OSB boards creates a component that is incredibly strong and thermally efficient. Notice the precision of the joints—this is what eliminates cold bridges and keeps the studio warm in winter.

"It's solid as a rock. You can feel the quality instantly."

Rapid Assembly

Because the kit was pre-cut in our factory, on-site assembly was lightning fast. The entire shell of the garden room went up in less than 2 days. No measuring twice, no cutting on site—just a giant 3D puzzle coming together perfectly.

"I went to work in the morning, and by dinner, the walls were up."

A Space to Create

Inside, the space is calm, quiet, and warm. The high insulation values mean it costs pennies to heat, and the acoustic properties keep the outside world at bay. It's more than a room; it's a lifestyle upgrade.

"My productivity has doubled since moving in."
