Garden Office SIP Shell Kits

A warm, airtight SIP shell route for home offices, studios and quiet workspaces where speed and predictable kit contents matter.

Modern garden office SIP shell concept

Likely starting point

122mm for many non-habitable garden offices; 172mm where Building Control, higher performance or habitable use may apply.

Most customers know they want a garden office, but they are unsure which panel thickness, roof build-up and floor route makes sense.

What can be included

SIP wall and roof shell priced from the chosen footprint
Splines and fixings required for the SIP package
Breather membrane and timber pack guidance
Optional floor, EPDM roof covering, delivery and installation routes

Why SIP for this project

Why this route works as a SIP build

01

SIP panels create a warm, airtight shell quickly, so the office is easier to heat in winter and keep comfortable through the working day.

02

The structure arrives as a clear shell package rather than a loose timber-frame build-up, reducing guesswork around insulation, splines and fixings.

03

Openings can be planned around the doors and windows you want to use, keeping the workspace practical without forcing a one-size-fits-all layout.

Useful upgrades

  • SIP floor package
  • EPDM roof bundle
  • Installation partner quote
  • Opening-ready panels for supplied windows and doors

Checks before ordering

  • Outbuildings are often permitted development if they meet height, location and use limits.
  • If the building will be slept in or used as self-contained accommodation, treat it as a higher-risk Building Control route.
  • If the building sits within 2m of a boundary, height control is usually the key early check.
