UK-made SIP kits

SIP panel kits, cut and labelled for your build.

A SIP panel kit turns your design into a labelled set of structural panels — walls, roof and, where sold, floor — cut to size with the splines, timber and membrane the build-up needs. Configure a kit online for instant pricing, or send drawings and we will panelise and quote the SIP shell with delivery kept separate.

Practical guidance

What customers need to know before ordering.

These points are written for buyers, builders and self-builders who need clear decisions before manufacture starts.

How to use this guide

Use this page to understand what is normally included, what stays separate and what needs checking before manufacture.

  • Check the intended use before choosing panel thickness.
  • Confirm openings, base, delivery and offloading before order.
  • Ask us to review drawings where the building is habitable, large or approval-sensitive.

What goes into the panels

Materials you can recognise.

Your quote shows the selected OSB and PIR option, so you know exactly what panel specification is being priced.

Sterling OSB3 Zero

West Fraser

Inner and outer structural OSB faces for SIP manufacture.

West Fraser describes SterlingOSB Zero as a BBA-approved OSB3 board made at its Inverness plant, with zero added formaldehyde.

IKO Enertherm ALU

IKO

High-performance PIR insulation core used in UltraSIPs panel manufacture.

IKO publishes BBA Agrément certificate product sheets for relevant Enertherm boards and lists IKO Insulations UK at Alconbury Weald.

SOPRATHERM XR / GA series

SOPREMA

PIR insulation core used in UltraSIPs standard and higher-performance panel build-ups.

SOPREMA lists SOPRATHERM GA4000 as previously Celotex GA4000, with BBA certification for defined pitched roof, dry lining and floor applications.

Panel specification

122mm kits suit many non-habitable garden rooms. 172mm is the usual starting point for habitable extensions and annexes that need Building Control sign-off. 222mm is available where you want stronger thermal performance than the regulations require.

If you know the footprint, configure the kit online for live pricing. If you have drawings, send them in and we will panelise the design, produce a labelled panel schedule and price the SIP shell with delivery and exclusions set out clearly.

What is included in a SIP panel kit?+

A kit covers the structural SIP wall and roof panels cut to your drawings, plus the splines and fixings to join them and membrane where the build-up needs it. Timber is included sized to the build need plus 10% wastage where specified, and floors are supplied where sold separately. Which SIP thickness do kits use?+

122mm panels suit many non-habitable garden rooms, 172mm is the usual starting point for habitable extensions and annexes that must meet Building Control, and 222mm is available for stronger thermal performance. You can compare build-ups and U-values in our U-value calculator.
